We sell guard animals to sheep and goat breeders. We put our guard llamas with 160 head of goats for several weeks and then with 65 head of sheep for several weeks. That way when they come to your farm, their bonding period is far shorter than when they see sheep or goats for the first time.  We have been doing this for a couple of years and have found it to be quite successful.
